Jovanka Skocic was diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer in December 2021. She is currently undergoing treatment at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto. Jovanka (or "Jo") attended the University of Toronto and received degrees in anthropology and psychology. Currently, she works in research at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
Jo enjoys travelling and spending her spare time with her family and friends. Additionally, Jo loves being active and plans to run a marathon when her active treatment is finished.
